The rumors that Twitter would release a tool analysis have circulated since the beginning of the year. Shortly after, one of the company executives confirmed that it existed, but did not give many details. And yesterday the social network called for a “select group of users” to test the tool, which is still in alpha state. One of these users, @mogoonsemetrics, sent two screenshots tool for the blog Mashable.
the image is possible to note some of the features which users have access when the tool finally becomes available. Among them, it is good to point out that Twitter users will be able to see how many followers won or lost in a given period, how many responses received to a particular tweet and even how many people Favorite particular post.
These three features are now available through outsourced services, unofficial but who use the Twitter API to provide the data. Therefore, the release tool may enrage some companies that use these features as differential of your service.
After the screenshots appeared, the company confirmed the opening of analysis tool for most users but did not state when to open the tool for the rest of the world. It is expected that the former CEO of Twitter, Evan Williams, weave more details about it during his speech at the Web 2.0 Summit, an event that is taking place this week in San Francisco.
