Val de Isere and Tignes

Both of these resorts are united in the Espace Killy area. Here you can ski both in winter and in summer, as the Pissaya glacier is located on the territory of the region. About 100 lifts connect these resorts with each other. Val de Isere is considered one of the best places for middle class skiers. The slopes here are wide, smooth, long, with good and even snow cover. However, this resort is quite expensive. In Tina – expanse for professionals. Three Valleys

Courchevel

This is a very expensive resort. Meribel

This resort provides the most convenient access to all pistes – hotels are located very close to them. Meribel is most suitable for families and for not very experienced skiers.

Beginners should try the short circuit of Blanchot, the Altiport area and Rond-Poix.

Val Thorens

This is one of the highest mountain resorts in the world, more than 99% of the ski areas are located above 2000 m. Val Thorens is the least expensive resort in the 3 Valleys, because it is designed specifically for skiing, it is more sporty. The resort is a small village with wooden buildings. Very popular slopes of medium difficulty are Combes-du-Caron and Col, “black” slopes in the Sims-de-Caron area, slopes of Pointe de Thorens. For snowboarders, the park “2 Lacks” was built.
